A Loving Father and Husband At Peace
Karl passed away on October 1st, 2006. He fought to the end and is now at peace. We hope he spends lots of time drinking martinis, playing his guitar and snorkeling in Heaven.

Celine,
I was so sad to learn of Karl's sudden passing. My thoughts are also with you at this very difficult time. I read the blog entries today (Chris shared the link) and was impressed at how hard both of you fought this horrible disease. I hope the memorial service is one of love and healing.

Celine - Don't know if your up to calls yet, but I wanted to let you know that I just heard about Karl's passing.
You and Anika are in my prayers. I never met Karl personally, but from all that I know from this site and from you -- he was a wonderful person and stayed strong in his fight to beat cancer.

Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss Karl...I never did get to hear him play that new rockabilly guitar. Karl was a cool dude, and always will be in our memories.
